To Live Again

This more follows my belief that until you truly love yourself and turn your life over to God it will than become possible to receive love. Not that I am looking cuz I'm content with my love for you and the love from you. This more has to do before I met you......it wasn't until I found that inner peace and turned my life over to the Lord that you came into my life. Amazing huh? Love you forever honey!! "Many other belongings fail us too. Death can snatch parents and relatives from our sides. Even the groups of friends ..... to which we have given our loyalty, change through the years. After the death of my husband, I felt that much of the structure of my life was gone. I tried going down many roads in an effort to find solution. I found every road a dead end but one. My conclusion is that there is only one belonging in the universe on which we can finally depend - our belong to Jesus Christ. The reason that many a hungry-hearted person does not know this is simply because he has never entered into the relationship. He is still on the sidelines reading about it, thinking about it, appraising it. Long ago Paul ....... searching down many a road himself........after cataloging some of his troubles that can plague us in this life, Paul gave his conclusion: I have become absolutely convinced that neither Death nor Life neither messenger of heaven nor monarch of earth, neither what happens today nor what may happen tomorrow, neither a power from on high nor a power from below, nor anything else in God's whole world has any power to seperate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ our Lord! So what must we do to enter into this highest relationship? ......we make a decision......we take a definite step.....we take that step, even though we know that a risk is involved. We cannot know what the future may hold; we cannot guess all that may be required of us. But we guess the joys of comradeship will outweigh the risk......that is taking a step in faith..........Life has structure again. A sense of mission returns. Once again we know that we belong. What does all this have to do physical longing, sex? Quite a lot. Because sex is not unspiritual; it is a part life. It is only our earthly expression of the spirit that is us, reaching out to love and be loved, to belong in an intimate way. And loving is giving ourselves - not just our bodies - but the real us, the essence of us. Not until we have entered into that highest Relationship, do we find a self to give. Only then do we become a warmhearted person capable of giving love; only then can we receive it. And after we have entered into this highest Relationship, we discover the best thing of all - that our God is indeed a personal God. His directions could not get through to us before. We could not understand His plan; now we can. We find that His solution for us is designed to fit our special needs and that it is consistent with our earthly happiness."
