her ears, wiping away all her sorrowful
tears, reassuring her he'll always be there,
until months, weeks turn into years,
and she knows he's no longer there,
leaving her to waste her life away,
left with nothing to say, watching
as she spends the rest of her days,
waiting for the day he returns to wipe
away those tears, to be here, and to
finally be eternal....
